Prologue :
Le terme 'Aquida, le Dogme, a pour origine étymologique « 'aqada » qui signifie nouer, consolider, serrer... Al-Wassitiyah vient du mot « Wassit » qui est le nom d’une ville en Irak entre Bassorah et Koufa. Le juge de la ville de "Wassit", soucieux de réformer ses habitants qui étaient tombés dans l’égarement et afin de les éloigner des innovations, alla chez Ibn Taymiyya - rahimahou Allah, l'éxhortant d’écrire une épître dans l’espoir de faire revivre l’Uncité d’Allah dans le cœur des gens et de les unir autour de la sounna.

L’homme rencontra Ibn Taymiyya - rahimahou Allah, à la prière de al ‘Asr et au Margheb, le livret était déjà écrit. Et jusqu’à ce jour, ce petit livre qui fut écrit en quelques heures, fut expliqué par de nombreux savants tels que Sheikh Ibn 'Outhaymine - rahimahou Allah, dont nous avons décidé d’étudier le commentaire...
